Default Spoiler addition removal??

I have an ugly body kit and spoiler on my Z. I'm going to remove the body kit, but I am worried about removing the spoiler addition. See pic below for an idea of what im talkin about.

Will I mess up my paint if I take the spoiler off? And if not, how do I remove it safely?

You will have holes if you remove them.

I think I can deal with the holes under my car, its going to be lowered anyway so it shouldnt be too noticable. But what about the part ontoop of the spoiler, will there be any holes then. I am starting to really hate the appearence package.

ill take ur body kit if u dont want it. and if there are holes. why not get the freedom spoiler. i think that one come off to the sides and might cover the holes if any left from it. i thought it was secure with 3m tape though

might not look so bad if you take the ground effects off and keep the spoiler like it is

I hated my gfx after I got into the whole drag racing thing. So I took them off, filled the holes with bondo, and took touchup paint to it. The spoiler still remains, and compliments my hood nicely.

Hell, even without the hood it still looked good.

Thanks for the offer 1sickv6, but CA is a little too far from philly for me lol. Does anybody have anymore pics of a Z with just the spoiler addition?? Preferably with a normal Z hood, or an SS or Sunonco hood.

GM High tech performance had a purplish/grey lt1 car in there with the spoiler only on it. Search their website maybe? I want to say it was last year... They did C/F badges and a spoiler and seats in it or something.

I don't mind my body kit.. it's simple and not all riced out... the spoiler looks good when you're lookin at the car from the side and the front, but I hate the way it looks from the back.. are all three pieces just glued/3m'd down or will i have to unscrew?

If I remember correctly, you'll have to drill new holes to mount that spoiler. So, he'd still have to do something with the current holes to at least prevent them from rusting.
