red SS w/o front grille trying to change the look of my car and do something cheap/free, so i was wondering if you guys could post some pics of a red ss/z28 without the ugly stock grille on there. I know they look mean, but only on some color cars. Just trying to see if its worth it to take it off, but eventually I will get an slp ss grille, but for now I'm contemplating taking the stock one off.

bad6as, what kind of paint did you use and do you have any pictures of it?? I have thought about painting mine, but not sure how much it would cost to have it painted and if i was gonna do it myself, what kind of paint to use.

does anyone think it would be a good idea if I painted my stock grille?? what kind of paint should I use?? is there any specific brand of paint I should use???

I agree the holes must be filled to look right. I filled mine, painted it, and put a billet grille on....would look alot better without the plate though.
