Me and my buddie took his off of his nbm camaro and his was finished underneath. If i remember correctly there were like some plastic fastiners that held it on but we just pulled the grill off. The fastiners broke then we just pushed the broke parts back through the holes... lol its not the safest way or the correct way but i worked if you take your time and pull on it gently you wont mess anything up, it just messes up the factory grill... hope this helps.

Remove the lic. plate. Grab one end and gently pull. Mine came off without a problem. It is painted underneath the grill but there are some holes in the facia.(where the clips where) I installed a billit grill and you can't see the holes. If you are going to run no grill I would fill the holes.

the yank method works. if you want to be more careful, just remove all the lower fascia bolts and clips. the fascia can be flexed enough to reach up and get to the nuts (3 at top) and clips (3 at bottom). when I removed my grille it had left rub marks on the fascia around the grilles bottom and sides. also, whoever drilled the holes to mount the license plate bracket to the grille drilled right through the front fascia also. 3 holes.

My grill had rubbed the paint off in some places. I didn't find that out until i removed it and broke the three clips at the top . It was nothing to touch-up though.

Those 6 holes look alot better than a tacky plastic grille. Although I am a fan of slp's plastic grill

Ive got the SLP SS grille, I just havent put it on yet. (and yes, those I'll gladly look at those 6 holes vs the POS black plastic grille)

And as for the yank mod, it works best if you perform it like this. Gently pull the side tabes out. THen focus on the bottom. I did the outter 2 most screws then did the middle. Easier to get a handle on everything that way. Then move on to the top (same way as the bottom). It'll be a little bit tougher than the bottom or sides, but do it the same way as the bottom and you'll be straight.

It should take you all of a minute to do this. If not, you took too much time drinking the 6 pack in between tabs
