I currently have cross drilled / slotted rotors...I felt no difference in braking until they CRACKED!!! They looked really good when I first got them, but now I have to get new rotors.
I would just invest in some BREMBO blanks and HAWK pads, that'll be what I'm getting next.

Yep, I've had them on for 18 years and they had hairline cracks at about 13 months...which turned into bigger crack after my 11.52 ET in AUG...I was so excited I missed the 1st exit at the track! Then I slammed on the brakes and I had to take the 2nd (last) exit to turn around. Shortly after that I noticed the cracks were all the way out to the edge of the rotor.
My rotors weren't high dollar, so who knows, maybe the more expensive drilled rotors would last longer?
I will never again buy cross drilled rotors.

Where did you get yours?

The Baer crossed/drilled rotors are pretty good, especially the GT+ kit which is expensive, but worth every penny.

for any questions about cross drilling and slotting, go to the forum where braking is dealt with. its been covered a thousand times

and i personally think its a huge waste, which is why im getting brembo blanks for 62 each for the front and some hawk pads

Thanks for the compliments.

And as far as stopping power, these are 100x better than stock, both in pedal feel and performance. I couldn't be happier.

[QUOTE=karkrazie626]Ravenous, I think your rotors are on the wrong side. I could be wrong, maybe mine are on wrong. But the slot should be flairing out from the caliper like gotv-8"s pic above, thats the direction mine go. Does the direction of the drill and slot matter? I know the heat has to be vented in a certian flow. Anyway someone please correct me if Im wrong...[/QUOTE

I don't have pics of mine but they are on the same way that Ravenous and 5.0 Hater have their's. I used to work at a Speed Shop and we always installed them this way.

I thought drilled and slotted just eliminated brake fade?
