Default Sunoco Style Hood Question / Poll

I am getting ready to do a Sunoco style hood for the 93-97 and 98-02 Camaros. Do you like the hood scoop as it is or would you perfer it wider? Rex

The Dick Harrel sunoco hood is a little wider, I've noticed, and might look better when it's wider.

Anyone have a pic of the hood? I have yet to see it, but have heard so much about it.

It looks great. I'd prefer the no line one. Doesn't flow with the rest of the car, looks out of place. That hood is the only aftermarket hood I'd consider buying, other than an SS hood.

Dick Harrel sunoco hood looks the best. I think a little bit wider cowl with no center line. Also a little more rounded transition between the hood and the cowl. Just some small subtle changes though.

I say a little wider and a little lower. Maybe 2" instead of 2.5". I think it would be cool too if you could curve the back down towards the windshield too. OOH OOH, and make one for the lt1!

Yeah, that one looks much better than the normal Sunoco hoods. It also seems that on either side, it slants down at about a 60ish degree angle instead of a really sharp 80ish degree that the normal ones slant down at. This also makes it look better.

I like them with the line, without it they look too raw like it should go on a gutted drag racer.

Make the rear half of it taller. And it could also do a little wider.

I think if you made the sides slant down more like 60 degrees would look great. Also, I think making it a little wider would look good too, but I'd just have to see some pics.

This is A wider version we have been working on,
its funny for years people have been asking us fiberglass companies to produce this hood, and came up with nothing, so we at VFN take on the challenge of producing this thing, and once other companies can see that their is actually an interest in this hood, now they are suddenly ready and willing to produce it too, we like being different and we like offering products that no one else does with exception of cowl hoods, its nice to stand out there and have an identity all your own,
