I'm thinking about doing a front end conversion on my '97 T/A. I want a original looking front end and there doesn't seem to be a lot out there. I found this one and it reminds me a lot of the "Bird of Prey" concept front end......but this one has the huge nostrils cut out in the front. What do you think?!?

I like it, but only if there's an intercooler behind it. At least it's kinda useful that way.

They do have an optional honeycomb grill you can put in the openings if your are not fortunate enough (like myself) to have an intercooler set up on your car.

Unique, if you are going to change it might as well make it different as well. I like it

I like it!. Just needs some kind of grill or intercooler behind it like everyone else is saying. Another thought...does your state require front plates? Texas does and if you catch the wrong cop you'll get a ticket and no telling what else they will hunt and peck for on your car.

I'm not fond of it but that's me. I agree with the intercooler being in there. As it looks, there's still a lot of space in front of the intercooler so if there wasn't one, it'd have a heck of a lot of space behind the front part. I think it looks like a kid with two missing front teeth by the way .

I like it better if you just take out the license plate area and put the intercooler behind that. I don't like in that one how you see the sides of the grille area. If there was a way to fix that I might like this better.

I'm not really a huge fan of it.
It just looks empty, takes away from the styling IMO.

With a honeycomb grille and some huge meats on all fours, that would look sweet!

I do know they require you have a front license plate in the state of WA, but even right now I put my license in my front windshield and I've yet to get pulled over........but now that I said something watch me get pulled over for it haha.

Here is a picture of the "Bird of Prey" concept I was talking about..........I love this car!!

I like it. I think if it had the chrome billet front like some guys have on the front of their Camaro's it would look the best. I think that the honeycomb grills would look good but not as good as 2 separate chrome billet grills in there. Who makes that front end?

You firebird guys can get away with anything....I like the grill It does need somthing in from to hide the radiator.....

There was a thread showing a Camaro front end similar to that one and everyone started chanting the Rice mantra.....

Im always amazed thatyou can take the ugliest wheel and slap it on a TA...and lo and behold..it looks good...the TA is just more "organic" i think....

You know what you've said here make a lot of sense....I've never thought much about what I've read here in the past, but you're absolutely right about what us 'bird guys can get away with and you Camaro folks can't.
