Default z28 decal removal

What is the safest way to remove those? Do I just hook and pull? I don't want to have any residue left behind but since the single exit exhaust everyone thinks i'm an V6, I'm thinking that I'm going to try and blend in w/ the little guys around town.

i just used a heatgun on mind and what little residue was left, i removed with my thumb, and went over with some lighter fluid just to make sure. Good idea btw, total sleeper mode.

On my moms old sentra she wanted the SENTRA tooken off for some odd reason. What I did was used a hair dryer and heated the area for a good time and got dental floss and just carefully go behind the SENTRA and it came off easily and if u do get nasty stuff left behind use Goo Gone.

Thanks I'm going to try that. I think it's going to look pretty sweet.

Ya use a hair dryer and dental floss like SlvrV6 said. Those work very well but Acetone (found at any hardware or automotive store) is the best thing to remove the left over goo.

Goo Gone/Acetone/Speedy Solv...all work.

Keep the heat gun/blow dryer on a low setting. Remember you're just trying to un-set the glue, not bake the emblem/paint.

Maybe. I use paint thinner on my car all the time to remove tree sap. Doesn't hurt it, but make sure to wax the area after you're done.

acetone will not hurt the paint if you make sure its all washed off and dosnt stay on the pain.

When I had the 94 Formula, i removed all the decals. I also had single exit exauhst, but the lopey cam an cut out kinda messed with my sleeper image.

lol, well, my car sounds relatively quiet. I'm completely amazed at how quiet the car is w/ the turbo acting as a muffler. I'm pretty sure the only reason my car isn't going to be a sleeper is if they pull up and get behind me.
