Ive never seen the gauges in the a/c vents but they look amazing ......sweet car JayPee...but i have a question for you...since the gauges are there does that mean you hve to block off the vents when you use ur a/c or heat or do you just only run the fan on other positions...the reason i ask is becuase i didnt know, im not trying to be dumb

thanks,

seth

there is one "tube" that blows air through the 3 middle vents. I blocked that off. Now the air blows "three times harder" through the side vents. I did a test during the summer to see if it was tolerable and its not bad at all.

Werd. Great job, your car looks kickass.

I did two Autometer Cobalt 2 1/16" gauges in the driver side vent (trans temp) and far left center vent (boost).

I made mounts for the 2 1/16" gauges out of black plastic stock (CD case and a dremel works great for this !).

Later I found some carbon fiber trim rings at a motorcycle shop that fit perfectly too (not shown here) !

I love the outside of the car. Though the rear bumper insert could be a couple shades darker. Still, very nice. Like the wheels.

I don't like the placement of the shiftlight though. I am also not partial to white faced guages. They contrast too much with the rest of the cars interior. I do like the clean install of the guages in the AC vents. Very nice.
