Side Marker Lights?
does it matter if i use the stock red ones or should i buy clear ones?
If you buy the clears, you'll have to also get some red bulbs or it'll still be non-street legal. If you don't care about street legal or don't care about letting others see when you're braking, just paint them gloss black with a clear coat.

I think I applied 3 or 4 coats. Looks great during the day, works like stock at night, light still perfectly visible.
Edit, I take that back... here's a closeup (the bodyshop painted the bolt red when they were blending the rear bumper with the ground effects, don't ask my why...)
Lights Off

Lights On

I don't remember how many coats I put on. I just kept painting until they looked black. At night with the lights on, none of my lights look blacked out. The reflectors in the side markers are still just as effective. If you take a picture of the lights with the flash on, you can't see the black at all.
