Red tail light mod

Red tail light mod a few of the thirdgen camaro guys have done this and i think it looks alot better than factory 3 color lenses.
what you do is paint over the amber turn signal lense.
i used Testors model paint that you can buy in a walmart or such. paint number 1605 Translucent Candy Apple Red. about 3-5 coats will work. i used 4 coats. it matches kinda good, i just need to polish the rest of the tailights to bring out some shine. and factory lights shine thru.
for thirdgens i think it looks good. for fourth gens camaros, its different and can be done. i think it would look good and hardly noticeable but unique from all the other cars out there. i think it looks great on darker cars.

that looks better...i have wanted to do that to my car..i remember seeing one that had that mod on another website and i think it looks so much better...does anyone have pics of this done to their 97-up tailights??
here is a shot i found a few months back, i realllly want to do this, but im waiting to buy a backup set of lights in case it comes out bad. heres the pic

well what i was saying was paint the amber part red... but you could night shade it too with VHT nightshades...
that mod in that pic is pretty sweet too. you can get creative with nightshades or black paint.
