i read one dude took it off and the clear started comin off. and ive heard others say that because of being in the sun, under the molding was a different shade. but so far u guys all seem to be fine. lol i just might attempt this. i just dont want to be kickin myself later.

go to any autobody supply and pick up a pin stripe eraser wheel for like 15 bucks you can hook it up to a cordless drill and it will take the 3m tape off in a hurry . saved my thumbs many times

Honestly I was afraid of it being a different color under there but since the stupid molding was a different color to begin with then i didn't care. A heat gun probably would have helped me a lot but I didn't have access to one at the time.

LOL actually I had a heat gun in my garage when we did yours and mine
