I have to say I admire you guys with these V6 cars....they look amazing! Better than my car does that is for sure...**** just cuz mine has a V8 doesn't mean anything when people are looking at it, (especially the women) all of your cars are very well done up. Keep up the great work!

Oh I have the thing too that tricks your iat to read colder for 20 more hp!!

those resistors for the IAT (Intake Air Thermometor) sensor aren't completely a load of crap. they won't add 20 hp but it does work. i know a little bit about electronics and the IAT sensor sends 1-5 volts to the ECU, 5 being very hot air and 1 being very cold air. then the computer decides how much air and fuel it should allow into the engine per cycle and the resistor limits the volts that go into the ECU which in turn adds maybe 1 or 2 hp. not much but still a rediculously cheap "bolt on". you can buy the resistors at your local radio shack for like $2 for a pack of 5. i would definitely add it to my bolt on list if i were ya'll.

as for the tornados.... load of crap if you ask me. air and fuel is air and fuel no matter how you look at it.

Its amazing what you could make a v6 look though. But hands down, I would drop my 3800 for an LS1 any day. Then keep the firebird badges and sneak up on those stangs. Haha. V6 what?

Sp00rker, told ya mine looked like yours. If only you ran in CA, we'd be twins. Haha nice car.

You're actually talking about the MAF, which measures the amount of air that passes through it. The PCM uses this information to determine the operating condition of the engine in order to control the fuel delivery. The IAT on the other hand sends voltage to the PCM which calculates the incoming air temperature by measuring the IAT voltage. The IAT sensor signal is used to adjust spark timing according to incoming air density.

It wouldn't even give you 1-2 hp. I always laugh when I see people with these things.

Saw this weekend what looked like a 98-up trans am, very shiny silver paint, had the high rise spoiler, some type of aftermarket look alike-trans am ground effects.... I came to a stop at a light next to this car.... honeycomb taillights, dual exhaust....weird thing is that it had "firebird" center panel... it lacked foglights.... but had a vey nice set of wheels..... I still thought "formula"...... nope.... it was a good looking 3.8L firebird.
