Default Suncoast Raptor Hood installed

Fitment is .......ok. I need to shim the front a little, as it sits about 1/4 too low, but the gaps seem fine at the moment.

I really like that hood but the only thing that stops me from getting one is the opening for the air box underneath. I just don't like how big the opening is and I'm not swaping over to their air box

Your fitment looks really good in the pics. The only reason I didn't get this hood is b/c I know the fitment is hit and miss vs the WS-6 hood. If I could've found a stock firehawk hood then I would've jumped all over it. I think these hoods look great. It seems like the aftermarket raptor hoods don't meet the front fascia in the very center as well as the stock firehawk hood but yours looks good.
Edit-Just noticed your sig and the pic by your screenname is a T/A...do you have a Firebird as well? If so I'm jealous

The fitment wasn't actually good at first, in fact, it was sitting so low that the hood was pushing against the bumper and rubbed some of the paint off. I had to shim with 3 washers underneath each bolt for the latch, and I also need to shim the back too.

By the way, my T/A was stolen, I got this car a month ago, I need to update sig. Thanks for all the nice comments.

looks good, ive had a raptor hood for 4 or 5 yrs now, looks like yours lines up better than mine but glad you like it, ive gotten alot of compliments on mine, just make sure no one puts anything on your air filter...someone at a shop did that and now mines all bent.

I was wondering what happened to it, thats too bad, new one looks nice as well, but nothing worse then losing something youve worked so hard on.
