Berger mod?
I have a black Z28 and wanted to do the berger mod to the rear panel. I thought about silver, but saw one the other day with it silver and did not like it. How would matte black look on it? I have black ZR-1's and red calipers just to give you an idea of how the car looks. Post pics if any.TIA.

what i did to my berger panel was buy a huge sheet of carbon fiber vinyl decal and put that on there. red would look horrible in person but i think the carbon fiber would look awesome on a black camaro. ill try to get some pics soon

Red is definately out of the question. I am trying to remember how the old muscle cars look. They all used matte black, no matter the color. The new Mach 1's have it like that on the black cars. I am not looking for something that jumps out you. I kinda want something subtle. Please keep the feedback coming. Oh yeah, I will probably put silver or red Grand Sport stripes.

I am actually getting the whole car repainted. I figured this would be the right time to get everything done. The paint job has been in the works since before the new year, but I have not been able to decide how to paint it. I almost went with the hood, roof, and hatch silver. Leaving the rest black, but I thought all black would look better with my wheels.

So is yours silver or matte black right now? What halo's did you have, the black or chrome ones? Tell me what color you liked better on your car. I really don't want anything to bright. I thought about medium gray metallic, which is a factory color from GM. Oh yeah I am not the one with the cracked hood.

Go with a flat/matte black on it, as portrayed in the pictures above on the black Z and NBM SS. Although it is very subtle on a black car, it looks great. Any other color, especially on black, really messes up the look of the car, in my opinon.
Do flat black and get some stainless steel fill-ins to bring out the color.
