mecham hood?

Issues? What kind of issues? I hear they take great care and pride in...or sorry I was daydreaming for a moment. All you have to do is look at my old Mecham hood for my TA. It was on the car for only 2 years and was only opened for oil changes and didn't use hood struts. Help yourself to a look...

Don't give up though! My shitty Mecham hood is now being remolded by American Sports Car Design as we speak. Rex makes great quality hoods over there, and hopefully by spring their version of that hood will start rolling out. And Mecham will go take a flying **** and land on a catcus!

Just wait a while and problems are bound to show up sooner or later. His stuff is utter junk, Rex said based on his observation that it probably would have required only about 10-15 bucks more of material to make the hood half decent. But Mecham is a shortcutting nickel and dimeing **** bag, so you get what you get. I hope your hood never has the problems I had with mine, but if it does, send it Rex and he will make it the way it's supposed to be made.
