That's the C5 logo. The C6 "Corvette" logo is slightly different from that.

Good eye, it was the only one I had for a quick pic. Here is the LS1 with a straight "L".

The secound Ls1 badge has the "L" too slanted to the left. Make it just like the "LS2" and it will be perfect. Also if you can make the "L" blue for the "LS1" I would defintely buy 2 of them.

looks good, but I'd suggest tilting the 'L' with the flow of the emblem

looks great! i was thinkin of buyin those z06 style ws6 emblems but i thought it would be overkill, . . the ls1 badges are a perfect fender emblem, and dido on the slightly slanted L, . . . it would be killer if you could either engrave trans am or 5.7 Liter!!

These are the 2 style emblems that I sent to my laser guy to get cut out. THey will be cut from 2b stainless steel and the average person could polish them by hand in less than 5 minutes. Since they will be laser cut they will be extremely affordable unlike most mill pieces. The final price is up to Tony(Nine ball)
If we decide we dont like the thickness of the material then we can cut them thicker. However they will get more pricey the thicker the stainless.
Here is a link to the pics on my site.

2. http://www.adfabdesign.com/Projects/...lem/Z-LS1.html
Here are some sneak peak pics.
THESE ARE NOT THE ACTUAL SIZES. The final pieces are smaller.

I call this one Z-LS1 emblem

UPDATE: The first emblems have been cut out. We are trying to cut them in 2 different ways on the laser machine. The first way is face down and the other way is face up. Whatever way turns out the best is the emblem that you guys will get.
Keep the ideas coming. I like the LS2 and Z28 emblems. I could easily make those and anything else you come up with. These emblems should be very very affordable since they are thin stainless.

Here are the first laser cut, prototype LS1 and ZLS1 emblems. I WILL BE GOING WITH A THICKER MATERIAL ON THE NEXT BATCH. The next batch will be 14 gauge stainless.
Dont worry I will also repair the blown out "O" in the word ".com" These can be easily polished in about 5 minutes.

The next batch will be 14 gauge like these Kozak emblems.

I'm very skeptical that those can be polished in 5 minutes. It all depends on whether or not there are scratches in the metal, and how much of a laser flash is on the face after the laser pierces the metal. Sometimes polishing can be a royal pain, and doing it by hand will not be easy.

Also, you may want to tab in the center of the "O". This can prevent many problems later by people saying that they didn't get the center piece, etc.
Those look good though. I'm anxious to see a finished product.
I can check on how much more it would cost to have these polished. I figured some people would want them polished and some would not. At this point they are quite affordable. If you use Mothers aluminum and mag polish they can be polished very very fast even by hand. There is almost no laser flash because I have them cut facing down to avoid that problem.
I also said in that same post that the "O" will be added.
The next set will be in 14 gauge stainless.

The only problem with cutting them face down is burring and/or scarring from laying them on their face on the laser bed. Sometimes, the burring on the bottom is worse than others. It all depends on how the laser is acting and set up during that cut, and it is always variable. If the metal gets hot enough to burr badly on the bottom, then the burrs will be on the face of the emblems.

Also, for polishing, Mothers isn't going to do the job like some other stuff will. To truly polish these things the right way takes time, and unfortunately that will make them cost more, but if people want to do it themselves, that's great, but I think you'll find most people have no clue how to do it correctly. A shine can be brought out with enough sanding alone - no polishing required. This can make a semi-reflective surface, but it will never be as good a polish job as doing it the full-blown correct way. I have experimented with many ways to polish stainless, and I have found 1 way to work best, and fastest through trial and error - and even it is not that fast, sadly.

Well I have great news. My laser guy already re-cut these LS1 and ZLS1 emblems out today using the 14 gauge stainless. I will pick them up tonight and get more pics. I will also see what it takes to polish these. I know I polished the end of my stainless steel quad muffler in a matter of minutes using a dremel and mothers. After I take the pics I will be sending these to Tony (Nine Ball)

Here are the pics. I really really like the 14 gauge look a lot better. The thin stainless is nice too but dang when you feel the 14 gauge pieces in your hand, its no comparison. I tried to take some colorful pics so everyone with different color cars could get an idea, but my camera is over 5 years old. When Tony (Nine Ball) gets these emblems mabey he can take some creative pics. These are not polished yet. I will probably try that on one of them this weekend.
I will definelty have one of these on my car!
White backround (the 3rd white backround pic shows the thickness well!)
