As for the sound.....With a tsp 231/237...it sounded like it was going to wheelie through your house and kill your entire family while they were eating dinner then wheelie out the other side.

I have a question guys. On a TA you could do this if you went out the side skirts like on the Saleen mustangs right? Those recatngular tips might look pretty good if they are set up in there right. Just a suggestion. Maybe someon could photoshop that?

Well from my research into this the biggest problem is ground clearance. Every thing is fine untill you have to turn the exhaust out towards the side of the car. There is no where to tuck the pipes up since the floor panel is flat unless you got crazy and cut out a section of the floor panel for the pipe. Even with oval pipe you will lose and 1in to 2in of clearance and if you hit a bump its gonna hit. I love the idea and considered it but personally can't stand seeing stuff hanging under the car.

the best solution might be boomtubes, but they cost a fortune just like every other Dr Gas product. i have seen a few up close(including the sonoco camaro) with boomtubes and they looked and sounded awesome.

I remember seeing a Camaro on the cover of GMHTP that had a NASCAR style exhaust exiting from the side. It looks really sweet. It can be done but it will take some $$$ to make it look sweet!!!

Well, if you are going to put on side exhaust make sure you find tips that look good, and won't look like you just threw some tips on and called it good. I see some cars that look great with it coming out the side, but then there are those cars that just look like hell. I don't have any pick, sorry. Just my .02.

Here are a couple of pics of what a side exhaust might look like if anyone decides to go this route. This was a NASCAR car on a rotisserie to show the folks what the bottom looks like. I apologize for it being a Ford
