I think mines looking shorter b/c of the boot being puffed up more than most of yours, Kinda like trimmin the hedges to make the deck look bigger
I agree that its not the best looking' combo, but its very comfy, my hand sits right on it, and shiftings so easy, you cant say bam in the time it takes me to shift.

What about the feel when shifting compared to other shift *****?
BTW if you don't have a jam nut, you can use teflon tape to make sure the **** stays tight, and the shift pattern lines upp right

Looks good .
Another thing you can do is cut small circles out of paper, plastic, cardboard (varying thicknesses) at a slightly smaller diameter than the stick.
Then just stack the needed amount on top of the stick and thread the **** down. You'll be able to index the pattern to what you want by adding/removing the "shims".

eeewwww having that little nut below the shifter looks ugly, i have the white ball, just get some blue thread lock and gob it on there and spin the ball on than straighten it out than let it dry for 24hrs b4 you really rip on it, should work fine and than no bolt. As far as holding the boot up just use an o-ring that fits tight around your stick and slide the boot over that that push it up to the ****. I looks much cleaner and no ugly bolt.
