that's the ugliest hood you can put on a camaro.....how can ppl even like the look of that ahaha look so out of place and all you notice is those big *** nostrils....it takes a lot away from the camaros looks.......it only looks good on a t/a or ws6's....

I can spend a few hundred to get the top repainted or I can throw my old hood on for free. If I put my old hood on I am losing the functional hood scoops getting cold air to my K & N FIPK as well as adding an extra 40 pds or so compared to the ram air hood. I don't know if I like the way it looks anymore though now that I took my Xenon body kit off so I though I'd get your guy's opinions. I know, I know it has large body gaps but I want to know what you think it does for the overall look of the car/front end. Any constructive criticism is appreaciated!
The first pics are my car before I took off the body kit. The pics were taken while it was on jack stands, they give a good view of the hood.

If you want that kind of hood, then get a WS-6, because they actually look good on those. Camaros should have the Sunoco, SS, Z28, or Cowl hoods. nothing else really matches good

i think this thread is really funny. i bought a camaro with this hood on it, i think the guy just put the hood on the car exactly as he bought it, with no prep work. i dont really know what i think about it. sometimes i think it looks alright, it is definately different. but the guy included the stock hood so i just threw that back on the car. on a side note i had my body man finish off the prep on the hood and put a guide coat on it. if there are any fans of the hood out there PM me.

Although I do like the WS6 one on YOUR car because you have the Xenon body kit. I think the raised scoops complements the space between the sides of the front ground effects. But the UltraZ would look cleaner, still complement the body kit in the same way, and look "right" on the car.

I say do what you want. It is your car, and it doesn't matter how other people feel, as long as you like it. Most people on here only like a car if it is a plain jane SS, or looks like one. In my opinion, the ram-air hood makes the car a real eye-catcher.
