leave it like it is that friggin sweet ...please dont clutter rhe paint with bird stripes...naw do what you want just letting you know it awesome

I vote YES on the Blackbird stripes up top. You need something to tie the top back into the bottom. Silver stripes would do the trick. Of course lowering it would add to the picture.
