Only if it's Old Spice in "Pure Sport" scent.

You'll be hard pressed to find an entire shirt made of 100% cotton (stitching, collar, etc.).

If you do, is it 100% made in USA cotton?

If it is, does it have nap to "absorb" wax, dirt, or other particles?

i guess i should have been more specific. i dont use you normal white t-shirts from wal-mart. i have about 15 high quality thick black t-shirts that were from my old job as a bus boy. but i work elsewhere so i dont need them. its the thick t-shirt material with the nap on the inside. its a finer nap than a towel which is why i like to use them, and i cut out just the fabric and throw away the stiching.

let me be nice about this...first, learn about a product before using it. Z5 is not a swirl remover. The ZPC is their swirl remover. What you are probably seeing is the actual swirls that were ORIGINALLY there and were never removed, most likely were just covered up. If you researched Z2 then you would know that it is a great sealant, but will show EVERYTHING such as swirls etc. if they are not removed prior. Get a real swirl remover, use it correctly then seal with the Z2.

As for the towels, use high quality microfiber towels and your paint will thank you. Why use $15 t-shirts that are doing more harm than good when you could use that money towards some high quality microfiber towels that will last a long time? People, please, research a bit before buying and using something misinformed...

As far as towels go, I use microfibers. If they are new and nothing settled in them, I find them to work the best.
As far as the swirl marks go... either the towels were contaminated with something or there was defiantly dust settled on the car. I haven't used Zaino enough to comment on their products, but the other thing is that if you used a rotary buffer to apply any type of compound, there may be some "rainbow" swirls left over from the pad that a orbital buffer and polish can take out. Just a thought.

I'm glad that works for you...you're certainly an anomoly in that regard.

You hit the nail on the head with your last statement.

Lackadaisical attitudes and practices usually result in less than stellar finishes.

If you're happy, don't worry.

im not about to play a game of wits with you. you obviously pride yourself on anally cleaning your paint and doing a good job, ive seen your work and it shows. but all im saying is, i cant understand why you should wash the **** out of a towel when you can just go buy another.

I don't buy cheap towels, and there's no reason to throw away towels when they can be easily cleaned and reused many times.

in all honesty im not trying to come off like an *******, but what makes a 30 dollar microfiber towel better than a 99c from menards? is there smome special fiber added into the 30.00 one im unaware of? special color? maybe you can clear that up? cause if they really are THAT much better maybe i should switch

and ps sorry to the thread starter for this argument, lets take this to pm plz, i just want to know whatthe difference is and im done with arguing.
