Default carbon fiber?

I think I heard that there was a company looking to find out if there was interest in making carbon fiber t tops. does anyone know if there are any companies that are making or experimenting with carbon fiber t tops?

Probably not at this point. There is a world-wide shortage of Carbon Fiber
due to military needs. I've heard fabricators are actually going out of business due to their inability to find CF.

The above is true. Right now the red colored carbon fiber is next to impossible to find. The cost has almost tripled for the raw material.

There is a company on ebay that sells the roof panel in cf for the corvette. They might be able to make some cf t-tops for you.

I have about 4 yds of 2X2 twill which is the "Holy Grail" of CF fabrics that I am hanging onto for dear life. I was going to start offering some parts on Ebay, but that's been put on hold until I make sure I do all the stuff I want for my own car first.

I just ordered a ABS Plastic Headliner mold and was planning on wrapping it in the red and black carbon fiber. Looks like that project will have to be on hold for a while.......
