Tint is definately going to make a difference. I'm clearing the headlight corners as well to chrome to match the lip. I don't see how black "doesn't look right".

those rims are more of an import rim.... you need some chrome 20's on there..... its not fast... dont try and make it look fast with rice burning rims.... u definetly need tint in those huge windows..... and i hate to jump on the bandwagon but that grille is terrible.... is that like a cheap knock off of a bently grille?

I like those cars alot, almost bought one when I bought my Z. One I was looking at had wheels that I thought looked too big, but your's I think are just a little too small. Something in a 18 or 19 might look better and I think you should paint the grille like you said, but it's your car. Congrats on the nice car.

grill looks weird, wheels that have a polished lip make the whole wheel look smaller then it is, so if thats your style you should do it with a 19" or something big. i like the maroon one better, very clean and good contrast. like said earlier yours looks like a japanese 4 door not a lincoln.

Import wheels? I'm pretty sure some of the guys who own cobras run Stern's as well. Just because the wheels are spoked doesnt mean it looks like an import, there's a hell of a lot of guys on here running that kind of rim.

It appears that many people think the wheels appear to small my suggestion would b when you get new tires go with a smaller sidewall. What series are you running now?

The tires are 255/45R18's. I respect the constructive criticism very much, gives me a few ideas. So you guys think it would look a lot better with the black centered grill huh. Another note, the the pinstripe throws the car off, to the untrained eye. As soon as the tint comes and thats removed, as well as the cleared headlight corners, it'll look good. That's why I said "so far", I'm not done yet.

I'm not trying to act fast at all, I don't want "chrome 20's" because I don't want my car to handle like a truck. It handles amazing for a 4 door sedan right now, especially with BFG KDW-2's.

Anything over 18's on this car sacrifices the handling and what not. I wanted some decently wide tires under it too, so I just went with 18's. I didn't say v6 mustangs, I said COBRAS! Whole different group of people. I wanted to go for a more european effect, considering the car is based off of the 5 series.

Just cause some people with v8 powered cars do something, doesn't mean it looks good lol. And all cobra owners aren't the same. All fbody owners aren't the same. I'm sure that there are just as many.... well probably not , f-bod v8 owners that have done ricey type things to their cars. Still doesn't mean it looks good.

But hey, looks are all an opinion. So if you like em, keep em.

With that said, I think if I had a luxury sport sedan, I would have to get some luxury sport sedan type wheels, some polished HREs, DMS, iforged etc. But I agree the black wheels just don't say luxury and the lip makes them look even smaller. Handling is probably pretty soft in stock form on your car anyways compared to ours. I know with all the people i see riding on 19s and 20s in similar cars you could get away with it. I think the color of the wheels adds to the visual aspect of the problem though, almost like an optical illusion.
