I don't drive it in the rain. Except twice, and that was coming back from Super Chevy both times...

It isn't easy to keep it clean, lots of upkeep.

The car has 98k miles on it

Only thing about it, it's not as fun to drive as it used to be.....I always have to be on top of the weather, and worry about dirt....so it's like waiting on a heart attack...

Sometimes, it's more fun to not have to worry about those things...

Stainless steel bolts from Home Depot doesn't have the chrome shine as would bolts from Chrome Bolt.com.

Where did you get that red cover for the intake? I keep getting bugs and stuff stuck in mine.

Here is the website:

www.outerwears.net

You can call them, and tell them which K&N filter you have. You may need your K&N PN though. They have them in red and black. May make other colors, I am not sure. It ran me around $25-30, can't remember exactly.

It is waterproof, and when dynoed, the car showed the same numbers w/ it on as it did w/ it off. So it does NOT affect HP at all.

And my filter is still brand new looking, not a spec of dirt on it. So I will never have to clean my K&N
