Just have to make sure its visible and at least appears a little bit reflective. Some reflective vinyl or spray paint from autozone would work. You may even want to put some made up **** on it like STFU Society

As far as how long it will take you to get owned by a cop, Im on the fence with this. When I lived in Miami it seemed like 40% of the people didnt even have license plates. They either had a piece of cardboard with thier tag number crudely scribbled on it and a little note saying "stolen tag". Or they just had no tag at all and drove around like there was nothing wrong with it. OR they drove around with an expried plate that was so old it didnt even look like the current ones.
On the other hand, I had a pickup truck at the time and I used to keep my plate in the rear window behind the driver seat and boy the cops loved pulling me over for that one. I had 3 cops surround me once, all just to tell me that my plate should be on my bumper, obviously Coral Gables cops have nothing better to do.
Either way you WILL eventually get owned and it will hurt your wallet. And whatever you do, if you tell a cop youre replacing that plate and a month later the same cop pulls you over, youre in big trouble. lol

Paul, just think about the biker cop that sits in front of SCC every morning with nothing better to do.....than watch kids drive to school every morning and pull me over for my 3rd brake light saying F-THIS. I told him to F-OFF and drove away with my warning for inappropriate material on my vehicle....

You could have told him it meant "Firebird This". Its not like you have a bad word on your car, the cop was just being a jerk.

i say drive around a place where all the cops are at, like a donute shop or the cop's main office and park where the plate is CLEARLY visiable from the inside and go in and "ask for directions" for something stupid and see if anyone notices, then when you go outside and start the car up backing up reeeeeal close to the side walk where i'm sure a couple of cops will be standing and just drive off like normal....if you pass that, aint nothing gonna fkk with you lol
