Just when I thought painting the plate was the dumbest thing I'd seen in awhile, you come up with this. So now, take a relatively minor offense, at minimum an improper tag issue and a non-moving infraction, and blow it into a Falsification of an Official Report of a Crime issue. Whatever you get, you have coming. Let's hope this plate doesn't come up reported stolen anytime soon....

OMG... like people don't lie all the time anyway!!!!!! No one will ever know the tag wasn't really stolen!!!!!!!!!!!!! He isn't going to get into any trouble, the worst he has done with the stolen tag is wasted a few $$$ on a new tag.

Even if his new tag does get stolen... so what.... he either has some vandels that are steeling the plates or someone is playing around with his tags.

The "stolen tag" is no differant than if someone had ran into the car(god forbid) and had ko his tag.

I think I'd say it was lost, not stolen... When you take it off, just lose it and you will be telling the truth.

Oh yeah, real hard, like when you choose to lose your dog and you drop it off 10 miles from home...
