IROC2000LS1 I love that cage. Is something like that NHRA legal, would it pass safety inspection at a track if you are fast enough to require a cage? I'm going to need a cage but I'm hesitant on giving up the comfort of getting in and out of the car with ease. I dont want to have to "climb" into the car since I plan on the car being more of a street car than a track car.

Here is a pic of the rear bars, most people end them above the gas tank, I brought mine back to the rear sub frame.

IROC2000LS1, very nice!! What did you use to make the targa top? Im looking for a way to shave some weight off the t-tops, and the 6LE piece is nice (expensive) but to really make it light it needs to become a hard top. Its time for me to build my cage, gut the dash and doors and do something with the t-tops.

Ahhh, I see, hard top car to start with. Mines a drift car, and will rarely see more than 90mph. Im really just wanting something I can remove for local events/driving. Getting rid of the glass/brackets/center piece is appealing.

A t-top car would be a lot easier to start with, a hard top car u pretty much have to convert it to a t-top car first. For a top all you need to do is go to a junk yard and remove you one from a hard top car. Most of the time my top stays out when its warm, the car is garage keep so I just leave it out most of the time until it gets cold out. The top will fit perfect in the hatch turn around backwards.

Looks clean as hell! I was just thinking to myself, "Self, you should do this to yours!" Then I noticed that I probably have an oil filter where your driver side coils are at, then I noticed you moved your filter, then I noticed all the tubular awesomeness… then I was sad I don't have car funds like that.

My favorite mod thus far..... smoothed out and molded in front plate. I had the bat logo custom cnc cut and then I beveled the edges and welded studs to the backside so I could permanently affix it to the bumper. Painted silver and voila....
