It does when it's functional for gripping the wheel during turns...oh wait, these cars can't handle

Sorry, couldn't pick just one... that rack was a beeotch to get to work with stroker pan. No spacers in the picture, but it has some in there (bifilar pins from Blackhawk helicopter lol)
I just recently replaced the broken ashtray cover with one I made. Its 3D Printed and painted. Its not perfect, but I think its better than the broken and flopping ashtray cover that was there. I never opened the ashtray cover so this replacement is screwed on from underneath.
Its a phoenix and a rose, because the car's name is "Rose". I have a dark blue rose in the trunk hump visible through the hatch.
Found a nasty but solid 03+ center console from a Tahoe at LKQ for $30 for my 2000 GMC Sierra. After cleaning years of coffee and soda off the frame then repainting the frame it was time to gut out the console for a ratchet type shifter.
After making clearance inside the console for the shifter I dyed it with SEM Graphite to match the trucks interior.
I chose a B&M Truck & SUV Megashifter for it's correct height using the supplied high mounting plate. It took the right amount (trial & error) of spacers where the shifter throw would have full range not hitting the console.
The cup holder insert has two cup holders and a cubby hole on the opposite side. Keeping the two cup holders I drimeled out the cubby for the shifter boot.
Installed the console over the shifter and it fit like a factory install... resting your elbow on the console lid and hand on the shifter is very comfortable. Reminds me of the old muscle cars from my early hotrod days with buckets and a console. So much better than the trucks original folding jump seat
Tried a Speed Dawg skull shifter **** but went back with the t-handle for comfort. I did swap the B&M handle for a Hurst to match the (bogus) Hurst domed wheel decals lol
Electronic rear view mirror like the newer GMs with front/rear cameras. Clips onto the original mirror, but you can’t really notice it’s aftermarket except for the plugs coming out of it. I’ve since upgraded to the model with GPS. Rear camera is mounted under the spoiler inside a faux shark fin antenna housing.
