Cleaning Car Cover Questions Hey guys i was wondering what is the best way to clean a car cover? I was going to put it in a washing machine but it says to not put it in their, but i was why cant you? And what does everyone do to clean theirs? Also whats a really good ALL SEASON car cover. Im talking about one that blocks rain, snow, dust and everything? Mine is kinda a cheap one from pep boys, but i needed something, but it seems to let dust through, so even when i clean my car, boom its dusty the next day..thanks for the help guys

Covercraft makes the best covers I have seen.
They are machine washable too, just cant dry them in a drier.
Dust... your kind of screwed, I had the same issue but not a wash with a really small amount of soap followed by a quick detailer cant fix. The dirt and dust gets into the fabric from the moment it's on the car and the water pulls it through to your paint. Cant do anything about it.

Excellent thread... I have my Covercraft Noah on right now and when it gets a little warmer again I think I'm going to wash it. They give some specific directions on how to wash it in the directions. ie. no aggitator in the washer, specific soap. But I have yet to try to do it yet, just bought it new before this winter.

The huge front loaders are good, they dont have the middle spike that the top loaders have and they spin in a circle, not back and forth. I wouldnt use any soap that have a softener in it, it's know to stay within the fabrics and the main selling point of the covers is the fact that they breath.
