When I bought the car it was black and the guy def. got a Maaco paint job on it to cover up the red. I had my dad wetsand the whole car and put a new coat of black and a couple coats of clear on it when I got the car. You can't beat getting a car for $1500 with a blown head gasket and crappy paint. I put another $1k in it, got a new coat of paint $200, used engine out of a 98 Camaro V6 for $500, $300 in various other things. About $100 of the various supplies was used in getting all the mold, fungus, and funk out of the interior. The car has never given me any major problems especailly for the hell it's been through. But it is def. my beater but it still sucks for **** like this to happen.
Here is the car the day we got it running and after paint....yes I was small and I was only 15!
