Yeah, it was a tough decision to sell it, but I was "done" with it so to speak. It was such a nice car inside/out that I didn't want to dig into the engine and ruin it. I knew that a low-mileage clean hugger SS would be easier to sell relatively stock engine-wise. A few months ago, I almost installed a 12-bolt, built 346, and nitrous....then I had to slap myself back into reality
I still have the other hugger SS, one is enough.
Whats next? Probably focus more on the C6 Vette now, its been neglected lately. Still bone stock except for wheels. In the next 2-3 weeks, it will have:
LG longtube headers
cam
Magnacharger
Magnaflow exhaust
Vararam intake
Hoping to see well over 500 rwhp in that car. That will take care of the 'fast street car' needs.
The next purchase will be Lisa's daily driver. We have it narrowed down to:
2006 Mustang GT (we are starting a Mustang site soon)
01-02 convertible WS6/Firehawk 6-spd
01-02 Z06 Corvette
05 LS2 GTO
I'm leaning towards the Z06. Lower insurance than the f-body or Mustang, much quicker stock, and they look killer with a lowered stance and nice wheels
....and Kenne Bell is coming out with a C5 kit next month
