Exactly how did you guys do your CETA bumper? Grabed a few cans of spray paint and hope for good coverage?

I voted gloss, but its almost a personal preferance when it comes to something this specific.

Wow! Haven't seen this thread in a while. When I was home I tried semi-gloss. Not as shiny as I thought it would be but, it ended up with a nice LIGHT sheen and a bit of texture to it. The outcome totally surprised me but, I'm VERY happy with it.

I actually like semi gloss the best I think it matches the taillights the closest, although I did flat black since I have a NBM

I vote for neither nor. My ex had a red WS6 and did that in a Dark Gunmetal Metallic. It looked pretty cool. Here's a pic of it

That is such a hard call. I like them both. I would prob do glossy if I had a red car. It would be different for each color though.

I'm going to do my red TA pretty soon too and I think I'm going to go semi-gloss. What do the actual CETA's have anyway (flat, semi, gloss)?

I just did semi-gloss on my Torch Red T/A yesterday. The bumper was such a PITA to get off and back on. However I got it done after many hours of frustration and it was definitely worth it. I'll post up pictures as soon as I can get a camera...

ohh man that is sweet I need to do the CETA so bad.. i like the semi gloss.. BTW do you know how our paint comes from the factory? is it gloss, semi gloss or high gloss??

BTW i was also thinking of doing the side morrors in black, the sail panel in black to go with the CETA..

I'm pretty sure our cars come w/ gloss paint. I was actually torn between gloss and flat, that is why I decided to go w/ the semi gloss. I'm extremely happy w/ my results...........now I just need to polish my center panel and get the side moldings off my car

Glossy if you have alot of other gloss black on your car ( like the taillight panel ) other wise it will look out of place and won't flow with the car IMO.
