Sorry for your loss. One by one our loved f-bodys are dying off.
You're kidding right? Not to get off topic but how does a slot grip the pads better (Less surface area of the brake pad touching the rotor). I garuntee you that the brembo blanks will outstop the drilled and slotted setup you have.

man, i know how you feel. i had an 86 mustang. it ended up getting rear ended pretty hard. 2 weeks before getting hit i spent about a grand buying brand new weld drag lites with street ets and front runners, and put 1.7 roller rockers on, and took it to the track once. the a week later we put an 80 shot of N2O on. then a week later i got rear ended. but i looked at i as a way to improve, because look at what i drive now.

that sux dude...i had my 00ss for 3 days before i got hit by a motorcycle making an illegal left lane pass on a single lane road....hit me in the a post...12g's and 4 months later my car was fixed...luckily i didnt have to pay....then i just put the sc on it in september last year and ran through a deep puddle a few weeks later and ended up sucking up a gallon or so of water and ended up breaking the starter bracket off the motor....now 18g's later (which i paid) and 6 months later i got me a new motor setup...... =) i was planning on doing the mods anyways but this kinda pushed me into doing it all at once...
