Wow, this came back from the dead.

Anyway, I smoothed the stock grill and got it in primer. The shapes and lines of the stock grill are horrible and inconsistant, the think would look like **** in gloss black. I think I'm going with a stull black billet grill. It will look good with what I have planned. I just can't get over putting a few pounds on the nose, the way I'm going lately, the car will be back up to 2,800lbs.

Because it's grossly low, rather than grossly high, like most stickers claim.

But shouldnt the lighter sunco hood offset the extra weight of a grill?

The Sunoco hood will save me about 50lbs off the nose total, it's a full pin on. However, I also need to add to the car a stand alone fuel system, nitrogen push system, fire suppresant system, and I really need to convert to a 10pt cage but I'm not going to bother. I still have some weight saving tricks up my sleeve though.

Leave the stickers off, put them on your toolbox or something. Keep people wondering.

Ive never been a fan of people that advertise thier hp on thier car. If the car is making power then it will show without the stickers. It's more of a marketing ploy imho to sell special model cars.

You need to read the whole post... the stickers would be a joke, HP would be way underrated...
