SS spoiler leds

3 of the leds on my ss spoiler went out..the screws are tamperproof and i dont have the proper bit yet..going to borrow one of a friend later..but i was just wondering if the leds are replaceable or if i have to get a whole new 3rd brake light?

look on ebay youll get lucky..and by the way you can buy those special bits at sears...
i had to get some for a small job i had...

$125 holy crap. I never seen a SS led housing up close, but im sure as long as you can find a way to pop it open you can replace the LEDs. At least thats what Id try to do as opposed to paying that much for a tiny *** light.

"tamper-proof" refers to the "pin" in the center of the torx star. it requires a bit with a hole in the center to remove it. bits are commonly available at electronics shops.

So if I can find a way to open the 3rd brake light without it cracking, I will be able to remove and replace the led's. Has anyone done this?? If so, how?
