holy crap. That car looks like it WAS in absolutely perfect condition, i feel for ya man. a young girl rear ended my chevelle @ 45 because she was on the cell phone, but $13,000 later its all better.

I just got a phone call from the repair shop. The insurance adjuster wrote the estimate. They are replacing the hood . Total repairs will be $5500.00. I bet that STUPID HIPPY's insurance company will drop his dumb *** after this. Serves that moron right for the way he acted. Just thought I would let everyone know the cost, I couldn't believe it did that much damage.

looks like my car when it got molested by a toyota corolla...that was the worst day of my life... 
one little love tap and bam! off comes the front bumper...whole front clip had to be replaced...bumper cover, and both side fenders...and alotta **** underneath...

i fell for you sills1 . that just hearts me seeing that to are camaro, s like that i have a camaro ss allso and if that hippie did that to me god onely knows what ill do out of him for hitting my car i will beat the hell out of him and sue for everying he has got even tho he probley dont have much but ill do it any way . me seeing your car like that . makes me not want to drive my car at all . but it will be ok sills agin im sorry i fell i want to cay for your car

Guys, the hood is in fact being replaced with an OEM Hood, $2000. My old hood is definitely repairable according to the body shop, but they just know how much I care about this car so they fought tooth and nail to get me a new hood.
They are letting me have the hood and now I want to know how much I should ask for it if I sell it. It has a small spot on the driver side of the hood and a small crack underneath. Can someone give me a rough idea?
