I did my own install a couple weeks ago... I didn't get mine confused, but I think it would be at least possible if they weren't paying attention. Especially if some "tech" somewhere did it. Maybe thats not it, but some kind of **** happened to that thing

FWIW, my stock 16s and my 17" z06 wheels are not the exact same. My stockers are slightly smaller even with tires.

Id hope the difference between your rims would be 1 inch, considering you went from 16-17's.

Yeah there will be a slight difference, but if you did it 'right', it will be less than 1% of overall height.

Way too low, Used Eibach springs have a tendancy to sag over time, always buy new springs even if they are no-name brand.

Way too low. Like everyone else has said, there might be something wrong. I've gone with just a 1" drop on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and it fills out the wheel wells just right. Any more of a drop and you are asking for trouble.

I downsized correctly (sidewalls of the tires that is), but I think its mainly that my stockers have almost bald tires.

I cant believe so many people think its way too low though, if you can drive carefull, you wont have problems or at least I dont.

I dont know where you live but in all the places Ive lived in Illinois, Indiana, Florida, and Texas if you drive around with a car THAT low you WILL eventually regret it. Ive seen funny things happen to ricers and gangbanger lowriders on bumpy roads and railroad tracks... More so in the northern states since the streets up there are all torn up from the weather, nothing like a rousing game of "dodge the pothole" in Chicago. Where Im at now everything is all hilly, I have to take my time driving around some places and Im at stock ride height. Ive hit my share of "phantom speed bumps" and I shudder at the thought of if my car was lowered when I hit those damn things.

You may have gotten lowering springs for a V6. I'm no expert, just a thought.

Definitely a possibility, that would make alot of sense. Just don't buy used springs again.
