Default neon lights

ok i know neon lights are a no no but here's my qustion. has any one put neon lights or LEDs inside there hood scoop on a ss. and do you guys have any pics. do you guy think its a good idea or not? thaks for the feed back.

ive seen it on Trans ams on here before, he had them in the hood scoops and the interior had neons in it. ill try to find that post but it was awhile back.

Yeah I have only seen it done on birds.. I think there is more room up there to work with than the SS hood..

If you do put it inside the nostrils, make sure you can't directly see the tube. The glow effect looks wicked, but seeing the neon tube directly looks cheap and junky.

any other lighting ideas? not under body but something else the hood idea.

i've seen lights in the wheel wells, but was also thinkin maybe some behind the grille, if possible?

do a search for cold cathodes.
i had red colored bulbs in the map and dome lights and red cathodes under the feet

im going for white leds in the map and dome and a set of white cathodes for the feet

I have a few LED neon tubes that I would like to mount in my car, I Have them all wired up near where I would like to put them, but do not know how I can mount them with out being seen and without damaging stuff to much. If you could let me know of some ways let my know, I have one above my feet on the driver and passanger side and one under the seat both areas too. And then one on each side in the rear seating area and two in the hatch, I just don't know how I can mount them out of sight. Thanks everyone

i have some just check my cardomain site, took the underbody kit off b/c it was messing up for some reason and didnt like it anymore. think im gonna connect it to a plug and mount them in my room since its a 12v source, will that work??? it should since its a 12v right??

Anyone know where the write up on this is? I remember seeing it once and forgot how its done and what kind of lights to use.....
