Default black strip between ttops

has anyone else had a problem with the black strip between the ttops fading really bad. any ideas on how to fix this problem. thanks

yeah mine looks like crap. it's got like the swirly rainbow waterspot stuff goin on. i'm going to repaint it when the car's repainted, not sure about a temporary fix though. i tried a claybar and it didn't really help.

Had the same prob to. Here my fix: get it painted. Along with every other plastic piece on the car.

i was thinking like a vinyl layover kind of like the layovers for the nosebird and transam on doorside, even thinking of model paint

The previous owner had Armor Alled mine. I just cleaned/preped and waxed it like the rest of the car and it now looks just like the rest of the car.

I just masked off the t-tops and painted it with a rattle can. Looks just fine believe it or not. Much better than the faded black.

Nope, mine looks great. The black part on the outer edge of the t-tops (the part over the window) looks like **** though.
