Default best looking gauges in a TA

I am looking for the best looking Autometer Gauges in a TA. I am wanting the gauges to match the factory gauges as good as possible. Autometer has so many new gauges out I don't know what any of the series looks like. Just hoping for suggestions. Thanks

I like the Phantom Series and come with red, green or white illumination. They will look great if the have white faced gauges. Here is my trans temp gauge

I also have the Phantoms in my dual pillar pod. The red light covers make the gauges light up about the same color as the dash, maybe just a bit lighter.

Where do you get the white overlay for the factory gauges? Your Trans Temp Gauge looks nice in the vent.

Autometer Z series is what I had in the Guage pod of my GTP. It's close to the stock Pontiac look, and comes with red bulb condoms to illuminate the background red. This is the best pic of them.

z-series looks nice also. I think I will leave the factory gauges alone and go with black faced gauges. Are the z-series bright at night?

There pretty good, even with the Red cover. I had no problems at night seeing them. I don't have any night pics, but I have a close up of my Boost Gauge. It's a little blurry, and the lens reflected pretty good. Autometer Sport Comps are the same black background, but silver trim instead of black.

That looks like what I would want in my car. Does the needle illuminate at night? I like the white faced gauges, but i would like to keep it as factory-looking as I can.

I really like the gauges in the vents, but does that cause probs with heating or cooling the car. Also, would condensation from the AC harm the gauges in the vents?

The needles don't light, just the background around it. They still look good though.

Just from looking in Jegs, they are cheaper than others. Where is a good price on Autometer gauges.

Little off topic but who makes a digital water temp gauge?

Summit Racing is where I got mine. At the time Summit was cheaper than JEGS.

I've been wondering this also...I also want everything to match, so something that closest resembles the interior theme of the TA would be best.

But is it hard to read them at night if they needles don't light up?

No it's not hard to see. Light is illuminated from all around the edges, which lights the whole thing.

Cobalt all the way! The blue will be a good contrast with the red.
