But its someones car and if they like it I respect that.

You've gotta be kidding me...

That only belongs on a stock style, flat hood. For example, the NON-WS6 hood...

That is some abomination of fiberglass that just doesn't belong...

i have a '78 as well as my '97 and it's looks damn-near identical! however, i think it would look much better on a 96-97 TA, because of the flat WS6 hood and the lack of heat extractors.

Wow. That's pretty rancid.

I would use 3rd gen components. I wouldn't mind seeing a 82-84 TA, 87-92 Formula or (2nd gen) -> 80-81 TTA hood bulge on a LS1. Flat hood of course. And maybe some of the fender vents used on 82-92 Trans Ams. I'm thinking that would pretty much look like *** too though.

I think a regular, non-WS6 hood 98-02 would be better...you could actually pull off the shaker and the hood bird I think.

it could be worse, it could look like this

personally i think theres too much going on with the ws6 hood and all, maybe on a stock t/a hood would look good. but to each his own

however i do like his fogs, i wouldnt mind having those

That looks ugly IMO. A shaker would only work on the flat t/a hoods

Is that a shaker or just a glued on hood scoop? There is a difference...

Its alright on that LT1, but the hood is too slanted to make it look alright. I think an LS1 hood would be a better candidate, and especially if one were to put the bird on it.

That's the only real shaker hood ever made by a company, that I know of. It was in magazines and was sold by SunCoast Creations for awhile...
