Go with whatever red best matches the headrests.

The first red one gets my vote. This guy bought a kit and did his seats himself, looks damn good to me.

For sure that interior he did is amazing. Im going to have to give that a shot as well. I would like to use the same material to do on the doors o nthe seats sooooo would this marine vinyl work well on the seats or nay? The texture on this stuff is like identical to the seats (not insert parts) so it might look real good.

Also the first red is like identical to the color of my headrest embroidery so i'll prolly go with that!

The red looks great man. Go with the red that most closely matches the bird on your seats. I think that'll look

I think im going to keep the graphite seats as well. I could easily change them to black but dont you think black seats would look odd with graphite everything else? Or not?

For those wondering about the seats, the covers are just several sections stitched together. You can take the cover off, razor blade through the stitches to seperate the insert. Then cut the new insert material using the original piece as a template. Stitch it back together and then put the seat cover back on. The only real hard part is doing real nice and straight stitching. The more you can do yourself the cheaper it will be. I think for most folks, they can do everything except the actual stitching. For that, have an upholstery shop do it. If your not sure about a certain material, ask someone that does upholstery work.

If you've never taken the seat cover off it has a learning curve. You'll need to find a write up from someone. I've seen them here in LS1tech.

Man I don't care what people think about it but I'm smoothing out and painting my whole interior black. It is graphite right now and I hate it because it does not match my exterior in the least bit. The only part of the interior I am not smoothing out is the dash just because of glare, florida heat/sun, and cracking. But I am using DuPont's PLAS-STICK that you lay down on the pieces before you add any primer or anything. I'm also using a spray gun for all of this, no rattle cans! My seats are being re-upholstered right now. They are going from graphite to Black with red stiching and red suede inserts! I deleted the rear seat, built a delete box kit. Got a ABS plastic headliner on the way that I'm also going to smooth and paint black. Still trying to decide on what color carpet...either black or red. Painting all the interior panels is def. cutting a lot of costs but you have to put a lot of time into it too. I'd def. say go ebony/black with your car man. Get rid of the shitty graphite!

Painting can look nice if done properly.
XxXTransAmXxX is painting all his interior panels as well. Have you seen them? Here are some pics.

yes i have! basically what I'm doing to my interior panels! Except for on the doors, the part of it where you grab it to close it once in the car is getting flat black! That **** will be hot as hell in the florida sun especially if its got clear! Even with all 4 windows tinted!
