Glad to see you resurecting this thing.

I do have one question though. Why did you send the front clip and fenders out to have painted? Being that the car is a 99, is black, and has sat for a while, wouldn't it be better to have the shop have the whole car so that they can match the paint better with the doors? Your whole front end might land up looking too good compared to the rest of the car.

But damn man, you must make good money the way you're buying parts, it took me a whole summer to put on my headers, cam, torque arm, lower control arms, halos, cutout, new headunit with Sirius, LS6 intake, ported TB......uhm....well, maybe I too did a lot at once....

The guy thats painting it is a family friend and said he doesnt need the whole car theres an additive hes going to put in the paint to have it match perfect, he said if its off hell do the whole car for free. But this guy is talented he looked at the car and knew the paint code off the top of his head and I have seen his work so I have faith it will look right.

Yea man it looks like you had a good summer ha, im no where near done buying parts yet either. What cam did you go with?

I ordered the eurolamp sealed beam conversion yesterday and Im going with 6000K HIDs for the low and 5000K for the highs. I got the new fogs yesterday and hooked up the 12000K and went down in my street to line them up........ yea I dont even need headlights . Ill get some pics tonight

Being that this was my first car, and because I don't take it to the track but just wanted a cam for more sound, and since I didn't want to lose streetability, I went with the old tried and true TR224. Tons of people had it, tons of them made good power with and were happy with it, so instead of risking going with something too big that I wouldn't be happy with it, I figured the TR224 on a 112 should fit the bill. And it sure sounds intimidating through a partially opened cutout

Spohn swaybar went on today but I was in a rush to go to work so I didnt get any shots.

Heres the HID shots, remember these are only my fogs, I have both a high beam and low beam set on the way

Just low beams

Lows and highs

Just fogs, my camera sucks *** the spread was WAY farther out both sideways and forwards

Fogs and lows

Im redoing the line lock tommorrow and then just waiting for the front so this weekend will be for my trucks toys. Ive got some more **** coming beginning of next week so ill catch yall later.

I would say you got some ***** to take on a project like that. I think it looks real good! How much have you dropped into it so far and how much did you originally pay for it? I say keep em alive. All these kids now days go racing with no experience, thinking they are the bomb and kill these endangered birds of prey. I am only 17 myself but at least I see the problem. Great job man. I would roll along side that car any day!

You've done a lot since you got that car. Congrats man. It'll be sweet when you finish it. I wish I could do that much at one time to my 99 or 67. I would be .
