I think it would look great. If you are unsure, pick up a panel, paint it, slap it on and see how it looks. If you don't like its looks, you can sell it and put your hugger one back on.

I recently just bought a extra rear panel to have painted like the Berger panel. My painter friend painted it flat black and brought it over. I didn't like it and told him to paint it gloss black, just to look alittle different.

+1 for this idea, I found pannels on ebay for $25, so if you dont like it just put your old one back on and sell the painted on here, someone will buy it.

I think the berger panel is a good idea in general.

Here's Tony's HOSS he just sold. Similar to what you're looking for, except gloss black.

i'll be the oddman out on this one and say that in my opinion the berger panel mod is getting WAY over done, it's becomeing to main stream now, just like the corvette rims on all the cars. just dosnt have the excitment to it really, but that's just my opinion remember you did say "opinions wanted"

i put a bid on one on ebay, and its gloss back. If the paint is in good shape im going to just stick on there, i think i like the gloss better to.

I don't get the appeal of this. It looks like that car driving down the road that was in an accident and had a new body part put on, but didn't bother to paint it. You know, the red Cavalier with the green door?

Like the man above said, you wanted opinions right?

Course, I don't like black rims either. It looks like you are rolling on 4 spare tires, regardless of what size or how much they cost.

I agree with the last part, but the Berger panel can look good. Of course, it's just one more mod that the Camaro guys do to try to be like the TA's...(TA seats, black tail light panel, ram air hood, etc). Should have just bought a Pontiac!
