MBA sold all the caps/covers but are now out of business. Thunder Racing seems to have most of whatever stock they had left. They don't have chrome though - only polished aluminum or anodized colors. I bought the polished aluminum versions from MBA and had them chromed.

www.thunderracing.com still might have some MBA products in stock. I'd give them a call.

No they wont. The bar is too low. You will need a BMR or similar height. The SLP will let the FRC's under it, but it is extrmely close. When you rev the engine it will gouge and scratch the hell out of them.

yeah you're right. I just measured it and there is not enough clearance. I have to get another STB, ****!

unless anybody knows how to add a lil height where STB is bolted?

If you put 3 or 4 thick washers under the mounts that *might* give you some wiggle room, but then you will have less threads showing to screw the nuts down on.

Honestly, if you have FRC's you don't have the SLP bar.

I was going to do FRC's a year ago, and I didn't feel like getting a new bar so I ended up polishing my whole engine instead. So I know very well how the bar wont fit. It turned out for the better though.

I don't even have the SLP bar anymore...

Remove everything that doesn't need to be there. Like the pcv system, factory wire loom, strip the factory injector harness-retape after running the wires thinner and hide the newly wrapped wires under the fuel rails. Relocate the coils under the cowl. You can see a glimpse of the polished coil brackets over each vavlecover under the cowling. -Joshua
