I finally broke down and bought some.

I did the whistler mod to mine and was really fed up with the lenses. No matter how much sanding/polishing I did, the haze would always come back. I bought 2 sets of supposedly 'perfect' stock headlights from people, and both were getting hazy, of course. Buying new headlights on eBay, just stock ones, is almost $200.

So it was the procarparts ones vs. the halos, bc I was dying for new lenses. I bought the halos bc they happened to be cheaper that day (I think I paid $116 on ebay). I think they look pretty sharp. Not sure that I will hook up the halo ring or not, that's a little iffy in my opinion.

I think it gives the car an updated look. They look good. I think i'd go with the orange ring on my car (silver) though.

The main reason I haven't put them on mine is the fitment issues. I'm not going to have big gaps between my lamps and bumpers nor am I going to spend a half a day adjusting things to make it look right.

Nice cars though guys.

Hey have you thought about putting the halo assembly onto the stock brackets? That might work out better for you.

Heres' mine btw.

Mine actually fit pretty well compared to some that I have seen. I don't know if it was b/c of a different company that made them. I did notice on mine that they were a little loose when I put them on but nothing a little modifications can't fix. Now they won't move at all and I have no gaps at all.

I spent 3 hours getting my Halo's to line up. I put the factory brackets on, that helped. Finally I shimmed them out to fit nicely with some washers and they look pretty good now. And no, I didn't hook the halo ring up either.

Considering that my stock headlights even had a gap, my halos actually have a smaller gap. Im happy with them, I wish the halo was a lot brighter but Ill probably order another pair and do it myself.

I like them especially when people in front of you don't know what kind of car it is at night because of the weird light pattern.

It depends on how you look at it. Within any camaro forums, where people are into modding thier cars, then yes, you'll see a LOT of them. However, compare your car to other camaros in your area, and I'm sure you'll find that you won't find a lot of Halo's on Camaros, IMO. I know where I live, I've never seen one at all.

Exactly, Ive NEVER seen another camaro with halos while driving around. Hell ill be lucky if I see another 4th gen driving around with its original paintjob and body panels intact. Most people beat these cars to hell without giving it another thought.
