Fernco SUCCESS!!!

I went out to homedepot...bought a 3"x3" Fernco pipe coupling for $6 and change...

and WHALAA...looks GREAT
it did take some slight dremel-ing to get it over the TB....but it went RIGHT on the MAF...its is GREAT and worth it IMO! here are some pics...

by the way i turned 21 last night...and well...got some dough and im going to buy my exhaust now....soo ill post that soon too!

be careful that it doesn't crack your lid, that's the only thing holding me back from getting that fernco.

I actually dont have a lid, i have the Volant...soo yeah it should be fine, but if you hve a lid, you may want to stay away from the fernco, as it puts slight strain on the components....but i feel that after a while its going to loosen up a bit and flex better so it should be fine!!

I've had one on mine with a Blackwing lid for a long time now, and don't have any cracking issues with the lid.

I did the same thing a long time ago and it has never cracked my lid.

They loosen up over time. should be just fine.
