NO DO NOT USE THEM ON HYPERSILVER. THIS WILL ONLY WORK ON GM PRODUCTS!!! All GM rims come with clear coat I have polished aluminum 17s and chrome 16s and have stripped them both. you'll wanna do 2-3 coats of stripper but make SURE, and I emphasize make SURE you just wash them down with water on the aluminums and immediately dry them right after you get through rinsing them or else you'll spend 2 hours per wheel trying to buff out the water stains and runs. Trust me my wheels look like crap this second because I havent had a chance to go get the mothers polish. and if you are concerned about having towash them all the time. Here is what you do
Get a flawless shine on the wheels where you already buffed and all that good stuff and now re-clear them. You'll keep the shine and when it gets hazey in a year and 1/2 just strip em again. its that simple. Hey its easier to maintain? Just my 2 cents
