I vote w/ the line..
That's the same reason why I got the version with the line.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I considered getting the one WITHOUT the line and have a smaller line (like the one on the bumper) added to it...

i personnaly like the harwood cowl hood better on the ls1 and the lt1..i dont like how skinny the cowl is on the sunoco...dosnt seem like it goes too well with the newer style cars...probably will end up getting the harwood for my car..but of course im not against the sunoco hood its still badass

not a very good picture of the hood but the only pic i could find quick

Yeah it looks good there but bad in other pics:

The main problem I have with it is I know how much better the ORIGINAL design (Harwood copied the design from my friend's custom made hood after he won an SLP show) looks:

Regardless, the truth is I am still VERY torn between the:

Harwood Hood

[/QUOTE]

Sunoco Hood (with and without the line)

and the ZL1 Hood

They all look so damn good...

Any pics???

My first choice would be ZL1 but at $1200 (for a functional hood) it's something to ponder...

Next would be Sunoco without the line then Sunoco with the line and finally the Harwood.

Any of them are pretty rare (as opposed to an SS hood) and look sick IMO !

They need to make a sunoco hood with the line, but less pronounced. It needs to be the same subtle line that the front bumper cover has, not a frickin lip that sticks up a half inch!!

I thought the same way as you do but now that I have the hood on the car, it looks a whole lot better in person and I'm glad it's like that.

But then, with the line, it looks like the line is tacked on--not subtle like the line on the factory hood. I wonder why VFN didn't make it like that? But either way, the hood looks great even though it isn't perfect.

The line version has a small line to meet up with the bumper and then it goes into the bigger line on the main part of the hood.

I like the sunoco hood much better without the line in it. It looks much cleaner and meaner.
