i am going to do the whistler mod tomorow and i was wondering what would look better.
my car is cayanne red metallic and i have the black roof and mirrors so should i paint the headlights gloss black or body color???????????????????????
i have a pint of cayanne red paint so what do you guys think?????????

damn body color :hmm: that could be sweet! might not work for all colors. but pewter would definalty work....

 

Black. When you start getting into the more vibrant colors like the hues of red, orange, and green, etc, it looks like crap IMO. It works on simpler colors like pewter, silver, black, and white. Too much color just doesn't belong inside those headlights, so I'd suggest keeping it simple with black.

 

I think you should go with body color.. Its different and I think it looks alot better on the brighter colored vehichles rather than silver or peweter.. Because on silver and pewter the change from chrome to body color doesnt make a huge difference.. But from chrome to red it would make a huge difference and IMO look badass!

Do the body color, if you dont like it you can always paint over. I thin it would be cool and give it the c6 vette look.

 

im thinking about doing another set of whistlers the same color as my car too just to see how it looks
